Twentieth Anniversary Sandta 20 Relay Race
In 2018 the St. Annes Carnival 5K was cancelled for the year, but in replacement we announced the addition of one-off special race, the Twentieth Anniversary Sandta 20 Relay, to the LSARRC calendar for the year.
All off road, the race explores the shoreline and sand dunes in a 2.5km loop.
Run up to 8 times to total 20km, available to enter solo, as a pair or as a team of 4-8 runners (in relay format), the race offered a taste of multi-lap running with a focus on fun, friendship, fitness and inclusivity.
There were spot prizes for effort and costume, with a cosy Sandta bobble hat for every finisher.

The Race HQ was at Beach Cafe, with their superb food and drinks available to purchase on the day.
The race entry price feature da donation of £1 per adult entry to the Fylde Coastal Dunes project, a volunteer organisation which works to preserve our coastal dunes. Find out more here
