Sunday Summer Series 2 -
Hest Bank - Moz & Catherine

What a lovely run! And with weather to match!
Catherine took us north up the canal, through Bay View Caravan Park and south down the salt marshes passing by Bill and Dawn's camp site to finish, just in time, at the Beach Cafe. Thank you very much Moz and Catherine

2:00pm Sunday 9 August 2009
Sunday Summer Series 3
Kirkham lanes - Julia

Julia found a pleasant selection of lanes including the flowery Lund Way, a former Quaker route, which came as a total surprise to us in spite of the many years spent in the area. With the best turn-out to date, we thoroughly enjoyed our 8 mile companiable round and the crumpets awaiting us at the end. An excellent afternoon. Thanks to Julia.
2:00pm Sunday 16 August 2009

Sunday Summer Series 4
Nicky Nook - Bill & Dawn

The second of four to be held in the rain - luckily, this time, only light and making for comfortable running conditions.  With the moors now covered in purple heather, the sweeping views over to the coast were lovely and the green glade of Grizedale a pleasure to run down. Not a big turn-out this time but nevertheless a most enjoyable outing. Thanks for coming.

11:00am Sunday 23 August 2009
Sunday Summer Series 5
Lytham Hall Park - Julia

Julia organized an pleasant local run with the added interest of including Lytham Hall Grounds at the time when a Family Fun Day was in progress. The run was enjoyed by several members, some of whom carried on to Lowther Park Cafe to relax with well-earned refreshments afterwards. Thanks to Julia for a second good run.
12:15pm Sunday 30 August 2009
Blackshaw Gala Fell Race (ICGP 3)

Sunday Summer Series 6
White Coppice - Pam

Eecellent run in beautiful weather and amidst gorgeous scenery with a picnic of bacon barms afterwards. Those who haven't seen the sweeping 360' views from the summit of Great Hill should put it on their list for future walks. Thanks to Pam.

CONDER GREEN
1:30pm Su
nday 7th. August 2005

Leaders: BILL & DAWN
The day was so hot and sunny that it was considerably better suited to the gardens
of the Stork Inn where we retired to later than to the running. Nevertheless Glasson Dock, the riverside path, the canal and view to the coast from the path all looked at their best.
THANKS TO ALL WHO CAME
HEST BANK
11am Sunday 17th. July 2005

Leaders: MOZ & CATHERINE
A delightful run and enjoyed by all who came.
Anyone looking for running territory in new surroundings may well try this run; both the coastal path on the outward and the canal towpath on the return were very scenic and the Beach Cafe in the sunshine was most pleasant.
MANY THANKS TO MOZ AND CATHERINE.
