Thanks to all who braved the arctic conditions for the second running of the Handicap on the new sea front course.  At least the wind blew in the correct direction and made for a comfortable return.  Debbie again excelled knocking two minutes from her October time.  Also running well were Paul setting a pb Roy Upton whose 5 points have taken him into second position and are eroding Neil’s lead.  Fastest on the night was Tony with a good 24:00 but mention must also be made of Emily and Rachel who set the female senior and junior records.  Congratulations to all.

For those inclined to extend the evening there was pie and peas at the Hastings Club and an enjoyable social occasion.

Special thanks go to Bill for his innovative start procedure, to Bill and Angela for the officiating and to Bryan for the long-distance pie booking.
