Where a handicap was an estimate for a new or lapsed runner they only score one point but their handicap for next month will be based on this time and qualify for a full score. A season's best (SB) earns two bonus points. Please check your statistics on both tables and notify me of any errors.

The continuing seasonal weather with rain and wind wasn't the best for running but nevertheless six managed season's best times despite the flooding on some stretches of the course. Congratulations to Tony Holt on winning, to Laura on taking the overall lead in the annual competition and to everyone who splashed their way through the puddles.

Thanks to our THREE helpers, Janet, Angela and Tim. Having four on the finish ensured everything went smoothly. Janet was serving her apprenticeship as she'll be taking charge next month when I'm on holiday.

Finally, really big thanks are due to the Robertses. Those who went to Fiona and Neil's afterwards spent a very enjoyable evening as always. It goes without saying the inclement weather meant no barbecue but Fiona's culinary delights were more than ample compensation. Colin is the new ping-pong champ after finishing triumphant in spite of repeated blows to the head from the loft ceiling.
