Where a handicap was an estimate for a new or lapsed runner they only score one point but their handicap for next month will be based on this time and qualify for a full score. A season's best (SB) earns two bonus points. Please check your statistics on both tables and notify me of any errors.

Top honours this month go to Nigel Thompson who set a new course record, improving his previous best by four seconds. Trish Roach improved her best time by over a minute for a well-deserved first place and Mel Koth continued her run of good form with another PB to move ahead of Chris Grove at the top of the points table. Congratulations too, to Chris Holland and Cire Blackburn who also ran PBs.

It was good to have three newcomers running. Lucinda McNiven, Rebecca Willetts and John Chiles all recorded good times and their handicaps for the August race will be based on these.

My thanks to Dave Wood, ably assisted by young Tom, for their invaluable help at the finish and to all twenty-six who ran, the largest field for some time.

Neil and Fiona Roberts threw a super party for us and once again Colin Laidlaw took the table tennis honours, this time defeating Tony Croft in the final.
