Where a handicap was an estimate a runner only qualifies for one point but their handicap for next month will be based on this time and qualify for a full score. A season's best (SB) earns two bonus points. Please check your statistics on both tables and notify me of any errors.
Welcome to the new season and the summer course. It was pleasing to see the number competing back in the twenties after the fall off in the early months of the year.
Congratulations to the winner, Gary, who was well inside his handicap time as was Janet in second place. I hope the three new members enjoyed it and are aware that their handicap for May will be based on tonight's time and they'll then have the same theoretical chance of winning (or coming last) as all the regulars.
