| LSARRC has held an awards ceremony every year in the spring. Club President Michael Jack MP has presented the prizes at many of the earlier events and Alan Seddon, Lancashire AA President, in 2007 and 2008. The prize-giving has been followed by a buffet and disco. Founder members, Bryan and Joyce Grundy, organized the the events up to their departure in 2005 for around 50 members and their relatives and friends. Since 2005 members of the Committee have been the organizers. All have been successful and enjoyable occasions. In 2008 the Awards Ceremony was combined with the Club's 10th Birthday Party. |
